Safety on the street
Amsterdam is generally safe to walk around the city centre in fetish wear, but incidents do happen occasionally. Every incident is one too many, so it’s important to always report these to the authorities. Amsterdam has a new initiative where you can easily report such incidents – the Taxi businesses, the City council and several queer bars cooperate with the Discrimination Reporting Center for the Amsterdam Region. Have a look at RITA – Report it Always or follow them on Instagram @rita.community.
